Design Phase
In the design phase, electrical engineers and designers create detailed plans indicating the layout of circuits, the type of wiring, breaker capacities, lighting plans, and outlet positions. This ensures the installation meets safety standards and user requirements.
A). Material Selection
Selection of appropriate materials like cables, conduits, distribution boards, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures based on load requirements, environmental conditions, and safety codes.
B). Installation Phase
Installation involves physically placing conduits and trunking, pulling cables, connecting distribution boards, fitting switches and sockets, and installing lighting fixtures. All work follows the design blueprint.
C). Testing and Commissioning
After installation, testing ensures the system’s safety and functionality. Tests include continuity tests, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance, and circuit breaker
D). Final Handover
After successful testing, the system is commissioned, and as-built drawings plus test certificates are handed over to the client. The installation is now safe and ready for operation.
